The $50,000.00 fund, officially named the "Choptank Transport Business Scholarship," is now available to any University of Maryland undergraduate student who attends the Robert H. Smith School of Business.

The goal of the scholarship is to provide aid to business students interested in future employment opportunities, including, but not limited to, the field of transportation and third-party logistics.

"Maryland's ability to produce talented business graduates has given us many qualified associates at Choptank," says Geoff Turner, president. "We're proud to support the University and hope this scholarship will help attract students to our industry."

The annual scholarship requires students to reapply every year and is available for students pursuing any business major.
