Toledo Spring of Toledo, Ohio, is celebrating 80 years in business.

Founded in 1932 by Gunnard Rubini, Toledo Spring is a third generation, family-owned business.
It began as Toledo Auto Electric during the great depression, and in the mid '50s, Toledo Spring Service and Toledo Perfection Spring were both acquired.

Toledo Spring offers commercial vehicle parts and service, focused on providing electrical rebuilding, steering, suspension and brakes throughout Northwestern Ohio and Southeastern Michigan. The business is well known for its high quality and reliability with alignment services and VIS-enhanced diagnostics capabilities.

The third generation of the Rubini family has been running the business for the past 27 years with plans for expansion. Mark and Brad Rubini began by relocating from a constricted downtown Toledo location to a business park just off Interstate I-75 in Toledo. The new service location has now more than doubled, including 12 complete service bays and one alignment stall. Hours are Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 10 p.m.

"Our customers don't make any money if their vehicles aren't running and it's our job to get them back on the road," says Brad Rubini. "We only install high quality, brand name products. That's why we're known for quality and reliability Toledo Spring services trucks, trailers, RVs, utility trailers and even classic cars."

Plans for an 80th anniversary celebration are under way after completion of their building expansion in the fall of 2012. The Rubini family will share the event with customers, staff and vendors.
