Rail Logistics-Cold Train and Interstate Distributor Co. announced a new partnership in which Cold Train will use a dedicated fleet of trucks from Interstate Distributor for short-haul drayage service to and from the Port of Quincy Intermodal Terminal in Washington State.

According to Rail Logistics-Cold Train President Steve Lawson, the partnership gives his company scalable drayage capacity in Washington State to meet increasing shipment demands as the service continues to grow.

In early 2010, Rail Logistics launched the "Cold Train" Pacific Northwest-Chicagoland Express Refrigerated Intermodal Service in partnership with Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railway and the Port of Quincy in Washington State. Since the Rail Logistics' Cold Train refrigerated expedited intermodal freight service was launched, it has grown in popularity with shippers in Washington State and the Midwest, and several thousand containers of fresh produce, frozen products and other cargo have been shipped on Cold Train.
