More than 120 of those companies have announced plans to debut more than 140 new products, from alternative fuel systems to full-size vocational trucks. Registration for the show is running 18% ahead of last year, and the event is on track to have more attendees than ever before, say organizers.

The event covers more than 500,000 square feet and includes more than 60 educational programs, including the day-and-a-half Green Truck Summit, an educational forum on the advancement of high-efficiency and alternative fuel commercial and vocational vehicles. U.S. Secretary of Energy Dr. Steven Chu is the Green Truck Summit keynote speaker.

Educational programming, including the Green Truck Summit and the Fleet Management Symposium, starts March 5.

Work Truck Show attendees can also take part in a Green Truck Ride-and-Drive (featuring 21 environmentally friendly vocational vehicles), meet with suppliers, network with peers and receive technical and engineering support.

The show is produced annually by the National Truck Equipment Association.
