IdleAir, which offers drivers an alternative to idling engines while stopped, opened a new location in Albert Lea, Minn. on I-35, Exit 11 at I-90.


IdleAir will offer free, limited service at Albert Lea, MN through Feb. 15. As part of a grand opening special, IdleAir will then offer full premium service for $1.25 an hour (plus tax) through
Feb. 29.

With the addition of the Albert Lea location, IdleAir now operates 25 sites in 11 states (Arizona, California, Georgia, Illinois, Minnesota, Missouri, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Texas and Utah). The company will continue to expand this year with new sites in Texas and Arizona.

IdleAir service allows truck drivers to turn off their diesel engines and APU's and still have access to heating, cooling, standard electric inside and outside the cab, satellite TV and internet.
