Tramec LLC and the Heavy Duty Suspension Suppliers Corp. Grupo Suspension in Mexico announced they will be entering into a joint venture.
The venture, called Tramec HDSS LLC, will provide a full line of heavy-duty suspension components that will be warehoused in and distributed out of Grapevine, Texas, to the commercial vehicle market in the U.S. and Canada.
This stand-alone business and subsidiary of Tramec, will provide the addition of suspension components to Tramec's air, electrical, brake and fastener product lines.
HDSS is composed of four ISO-9001 certified suspension component manufacturers located in Mexico: JM Tor Par S.A. de C.V. - hot forged suspension nuts and bolts; Pratsa S.A. de C.V. - u-bolts and spring center bolts; Partes Para Bombas S.A. de C.V.- polyurethane and rubber suspension products; and Partes Herramientas y Maquinados S.A. de C.V. - cast and machined suspension components.
