Remy International now offers light-duty commercial vehicle products through its traditional Delco Remy distribution channels.
The Remy brand light-duty product catalog contains more than 200 new part numbers for Class 1-3 trucks manufactured by Ford, GMC, Chevrolet and Dodge, including the Sprinter nameplate, from 1995 to now. The consolidation of this catalog with the existing heavy-duty offering gives Delco Remy's distributors access to all starters and alternators required by their fleet customers for Class 1 through Class 8 trucks.
"Most medium and heavy truck fleet operators have a number of smaller vehicles, such as walk-in trucks, delivery vehicles and pick-ups supporting their operation," says Eric Bippus, senior vice president of aftermarket sales and marketing. "This consolidation is an important step in making our distribution channels as efficient as possible for our distributors and their customers."
