Betts Spring Promotes Sixth-generation Leader Bill Betts

Betts Spring, a six-generation family-owned and operated company, has promoted William Michael "Bill" Betts to vice president.

The newly created position will involve leading sales and marketing for Betts Spring's spray suppression business and leading strategic and operational planning for the company.

Bill Betts, who graduated with a bachelor's and a certificate of entrepreneurial excellence from the University of Colorado at Boulder, joined Betts Spring in 2007. Most recently, he worked as procurement and logistics manager for the company. He plans to graduate with his master's in business administration from California State University in Fresno in early 2012.

The company's president, Mike Betts said of the promotion, "His new role proudly sets the foundation for the next generation leadership of our family business."
