The move represents the completion of a long-term succession strategy for the makers of Dossier maintenance management software.

Boetefuer joined Arsenault in 2004 as vice president of sales and business development, and took over day-to-day operations in 2006 when he was named president.

Boetefuer holds a bachelor's in electrical engineering and an master's in business administration from Drexel University. Prior to joining Arsenault, he worked for major providers of industrial automation including Rockwell Automation and Swiss/Swedish giant ABB.

"Stepping back is much easier when you can follow a well-planned path, and when you have a strong successor," says Arsenault. "Looking back, I am extremely proud of everything that we have achieved; looking forward, the future is bright. The company has been greatly strengthened by Jack's leadership over the last eight years."

Arsenault will remain involved with the company as a management consultant, strategic adviser, and occasional spokesperson.
