Old Dominion Freight Line opened its newest service center in Madison, WIs., after experiencing sustained growth in the region.
Old Dominion plans to hire 12 employees to support the new facility.

The move, part of a $100 million-120 million investment that Old Dominion is committing to real estate purchases and expansion projects in 2011, will bolster the company's existing presence in Wisconsin. It will be the company's fifth service center in the state.

Old Dominion purchased and renovated the 24-door facility, located at 4380 Duraform Lane in Windsor. The facility will open with 16 employees to provide service to more than 30 cities, which includes more than a 50-mile radius surrounding Madison.
