Old Dominion Freight Line relocated its San Jose (Calif.) Service Center to an expanded and upgraded facility due to sustained growth in the region.
Over the past three and a half years, rising demand from the pharmaceutical and electronics industries has led to a nearly four-fold increase in average daily revenue totals at the San Jose Service Center since 2008.
The new 48-door terminal situated at 2035 Ringwood Ave. will provide service to more than 15 cities in a 200-mile radius surrounding San Jose, as well as six ports in the region. It employs more than 30 people and operates under the leadership of manager Christopher Babcock.
