NAFA will use its board members as ambassadors to the fleet management community.

When Douglas Weichman became NAFA's 32nd president during the Association's Annual Business Meeting last month, he introduced NAFA's Board of Trustees as the integral leadership group critical to his goal of raising the association's profile. Weichman plans to use the members of the board as ambassadors to help spread the word about NAFA throughout the fleet management community.

The Board of Trustees consists of volunteers elected by the association's membership. These board members comprise some of the most influential leaders in fleet management.

In addition to helping to raise the profile of fleet managers, Weichman hopes to help elevate the status of NAFA by making the leaders of the association more visible throughout fleet and automotive industry events and NAFA chapter meetings.

Exiting the Board of Trustees was Matt Betz, affiliates trustee, Marvin Fletcher, CAFM, vice president, and Gayle Pratt, trustee- past president.
