Carrier Logistics Inc. has enhanced its annual user group conference by adding Mike Molitoris, senior transportation purchasing manager of Volvo Logistics North America, as a featured speaker. Molitoris will share his insights on "The View from the Other Side" - what a shipper looks for from a transportation company.


The conference which will take place April 28-29 at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in White Plains, N.Y.

Molitoris has been with Volvo for nine years as logistics engineer and manager. Previously, he was a logistics engineer and operations manager for Ryder, Con-way, and Roadway. He is knowledgeable in LTL, electronic sourcing, transportation law, purchasing strategy, pricing, budgeting and people development.

Other notable discussions that will provide insight on the transportation industry include keynote speaker Satish Jindel, president of SJ Consulting Group, who will share his vision on "Business Not As Usual: Why Your Business Strategy Must Change" and Ken Hoexter, senior transportation analyst from BofA Merrill Lynch, who will update attendees on the "State of the Industry 2011," revealing the trends in each transportation mode and providing vital competitive intelligence to transportation company managers.

Attendees will learn about rating and dispatch enhancements, billing innovations, mapping, electronic data interchange (EDI), and information system management.
