Joplin 44 Petro, Joplin, Mo., has opened its new Super Truck Showroom and remodeled truckstop. The expansion features 15,000 square feet of showroom space.


The addition nearly doubles the size of the truckstop and features thousands of chrome, stainless, lights and other trucking accessories. The centerpieces of the showroom are a bright green Peterbilt 379, named LimeLight, which is displayed on a diamond tread covered turntable, and a teal and purple Kenworth W900 tractor trailer showcasing a mural of Route 66.

The Super Truck Showroom also features a custom shop where truckers can buy vinyl graphics, custom T-shirts and embroidery as well as laser engraving.

Joplin 44 has also expanded its food offerings with a Taco Bell and a Blimpie sandwich shop.

Joplin 44 will host a grand opening celebration May 20-21.
