Hamilton's achievement, which requires having a driving record free of chargeable accidents or incidents, takes years of hard work, commitment and a solid relationship with the company.

"I always tell people to keep God first and stay focused on what you're doing. It's only natural that safety comes with that," explains Hamilton. "A lot of it is common sense, but it takes a lot of hard work and determination to stick with it and not get distracted by everything out there."

Boyd Bros., says Hamilton, threw a large celebration for his accomplishment and presented him with a bonus check. Hamilton also received a gold watch, belt buckle, trophy, company pin and cap.

"It feels good to be recognized for this achievement," says Hamilton, who lives in Colquitt, Ga., with his wife, Gracie. "My family is very proud of me and I'm thankful for the support they've shown me over the years."

Voted Best Fleet to Drive For in 2010 by the TCA and recognized as a Top 20 Finalist by the TCA in 2011, Boyd remains committed to addressing drivers' needs and providing a culture for drivers to build a safe and successful driving career.

"I've always been treated fairly at Boyd Bros.," says Hamilton. "I started my career here and I've never needed to look anywhere else. And now to have reached such a great goal while working for this company, I feel honored."
