FleetPride, a large independent aftermarket distributor of heavy-duty truck and trailer parts, announced that it has acquired the assets of four Page Brake locations in Missouri and New Mexico.

The Missouri locations were previously operating under the name of Gooch Brake & Equipment Company. The acquisition includes locations in Kansas City and Joplin, Missouri.

FleetPride first entered the Joplin, Missouri market in November of 2010 and this latest acquisition is set to complement the company's existing operations.

"We now have a substantial parts and drive-in service operation. FleetPride's ability to quickly source hard-to-find parts and extensive product inventory will help us earn additional business from Joplin's heavy-duty truck industry," said Lee Stockseth, Chief Operating Officer.

The Kansas City, Missouri acquisition represents FleetPride's second expansion into this market. The new location at 6451 Universal Avenue provides FleetPride with a new business outlet to support the Kansas City market. "We feel the two locations in this market allow us to more effectively service our diverse customer base," explained Stockseth.

The New Mexico acquisitions include locations in Albuquerque and Aztec, New Mexico.

FleetPride is currently operating in Albuquerque and has combined its existing operations, located at 101 Candelaria Road Northeast, into the newly acquired facility at 1600 2nd Street NW. The Aztec, New Mexico acquisition, located at 302 S. Light Plant Road, represents a new market for FleetPride.

"Supporting New Mexico's diverse economy has proven successful for FleetPride. Expanding our operations in Albuquerque provides us with a good opportunity to strengthen our presence in this vibrant marketplace," explained Lee Stockseth, Chief Operating Officer.

Stockseth continued, "Aztec offers a strong complement to our existing operations in Farmington, N.M. Both locations will work in tandem to better serve local, regional and national customers in and around a 150-mile radius of San Juan County."
