Betts Spring Company, Fresno, Calif., announced a supply agreement with Vipar Heavy Duty, a leading distribution network serving the heavy-duty transportation sector.
The supply agreement positions Betts to promote its brand of mud flap brackets and related components through Vipar Heavy Duty's distributor network, made up of more than 115 distributors and 500 locations throughout North America. Together with its Life-Time Fenders brand, already a Vipar Heavy Duty supplier, Betts provides Vipar Heavy Duty distributors with a large spray suppression product portfolio.
Among that portfolio are the DirectFlex system unified assembly of the mud flap hanger and mounting bracket and integrated ChannelFlap; the SprayDown fuel-saving/spray suppression mudflap, and the Bettsie, a short spring-loaded mudflap hanger.
From its beginning as the first spring manufacturer in the Western United States, for more than 140 years and during six generations of continuous family ownership, Betts Spring Company has developed into a diversified concern that serves heavy-duty transportation, aftermarket automotive and other industrial sectors.
