There will be no truck, bus or RV parking available on Florida Turnpike's Pompano Beach Service Plaza beginning Monday, Nov. 8.

The Pompano Beach Service Plaza is located in northern Broward County at milepost 65. Plaza construction is projected to take about two years. The fuel station and the fuel station convenience store at the northern tip of the plaza site will remain open throughout the construction process.

Message boards notifying drivers of the closure are posted just north and south of the plaza. Once plaza reconstruction is complete, there will be 40 truck spaces available. This is an additional 22 spaces.
