Several tire makers announced price increases on their commercial truck tires.
Goodyear raised its medium truck tire prices up to 8 percent on Oct. 1. All brands were included in the increase.
Kumho and Hankook will both raise prices by up to 6.5 percent on their full lines of passenger, light truck and medium truck tires, effective Nov. 1. The amount of the increase will vary.
The price increases were triggered by rising prices for raw materials.
