Trailer dealers will learn tips on how to succeed at this year's National Trailer Dealers Association Convention, which will be held Oct. 14 and 15, at the Renaissance Esmeralda Resort and Spa in Palm Springs, Calif.

Dealers, manufacturers and affiliated industry businesses and organizations will gather to receive industry-specific education. During the event, education will cover such issues as how to make your book of business more attractive to lenders; how CARB is impacting dealer trailer trade-in values across the country and its effect on the new and used trailer market; where the market is headed; and how to thwart employee and customer fraud in your dealership. Other topics include preparing your dealership to deal with Red Flag Rules and understanding your dealership's benchmarking tools and how to use them to improve your bottom line.

Since 1990, the NTDA has been providing trailer dealers, manufacturers and affiliated industry firms with networking opportunities and a forum to help dealers succeed through education and training at its annual convention.
