Ryder System has opened a new service facility and used commercial vehicle sales center in Atlanta.
The 24,000-square-foot service facility will immediately begin providing maintenance to fleets of commercial vehicles, including light-duty and heavy-duty straight trucks, tractors, and trailers from Ryder's existing contractual and rental customers in the area. Located on 18 acres on Fulton Industrial Boulevard, the facility will feature six-and-a-half service bays, a three-lane fuel island, a fully automated truck wash bay, and the capability to support EPA 2010 engines with maintenance and diesel exhaust fluid. The facility will provide maintenance to Ryder's lease, rental, and contract maintenance customers and will provide commercial truck rental services.
Adjacent to the new service shop, Ryder has also opened a new used vehicle sales center, featuring an inventory of more than 250 commercial trucks and vehicles for purchase. This 2,100-square-foot sales center replaces Ryder's retail location on Moreland Avenue.
"The Atlanta market is very important to us, and we want to make sure we're offering our growing customer base here a state-of the-art facility where we can deploy the latest in maintenance technologies as well as offer a broad array of our top-quality used vehicles for sale," said Mike Brannigan, senior vice president and chief of operations, fleet management solutions, for Ryder.
The location will be open Monday through Saturday, 5:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m., and Sunday, 3:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.
