During its Annual Member Meeting held in conjunction with the Mid-America Trucking Show recently, the Heavy Duty Representatives Association elected a new Board of Directors of 2010.


Lawrence Rosenthal of Rosenthal Fleet Parts Sales Inc., has been elected president of HDRA. He has represented several heavy-duty manufacturers and is a member of SAE (Society of Automotive Engineers). In addition, he has received numerous sales awards and has participated in a number of manufacturers liaison advisory councils.

Walt Sirman of T&S Sales & Marketing Co., Inc. in Mustang, Okla., has been elected vice president. Sirman has over 30 years of experience in the industry.

John Stojak, president of Sherman-Pearson Company in Cleveland, is the newly elected secretary of HDRA. Stojak is an industry veteran of 35 years, joining Sherman-Pearson Company in 1981. He is also a past-president of HDRA and committed to independent manufacturer's representatives as a cost-efficient alternative to a direct sales force.
