FleetPride, Inc., an independent aftermarket distributor of heavy-duty truck and trailer parts, has acquired Express Truck Parts in San Jose, Calif.
The acquisition includes a 10,000-square-foot facility and brings the total number of FleetPride locations in California to 21.
Express Truck Parts' previous owner, Ken Stahl, will stay on in the role of branch manager and employment offers were extended to all employees.
"Express Truck Parts is located on Highway 101 near the intersection of Interstate 880, both of which are key thoroughfares from San Francisco," said Steve Turnlund, regional manager for the western region. "San Jose has a strong industrial base, numerous large warehousing and distribution centers, and is the gateway to a thriving agricultural market south of the city."
According to Turnlund, the acquisition will complement the company's Hayward branch.
