The Brake Manufacturers Council (BMC) of the Automotive Aftermarket Suppliers Association (AASA) has launched a new web site, www.brakecouncil.org, providing members with an online resource for the latest industry news as well as council events, initiatives and programs.

The new web site was designed with a new look and feel, with easy to navigate drop down menus. It also features a daily news feed with top news stories about trends and events affecting the motor vehicle parts supplier industry; a BMC membership roster with individual contact information and company web links; and a calendar of all industry events, updated regularly. The site also includes links to Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards (FMVSS), SAE technical papers, and other important web sites and publications.

"The new BMC Web site has been under development for several months with the direct involvement of the BMC leadership," said Jack Cameron, BMC staff executive and vice president of the Automotive Aftermarket Suppliers Association (AASA). "The new site is a great online resource for members. A BMC Web Site Committee will be appointed to add even more enhancements to the site in the future."
