The National Private Truck Council and Trucker Buddy International have announced an agreement to work together to provide industry content and promotion of both organizations.
"Trucker Buddy has many drivers who are employed by or contracted to private fleets and this is an area that we feel hasn't been addressed in the past. We are excited to develop this partnership and know that our members will benefit from us working together," says Randy Schwartzenburg, Trucker Buddy executive director.
Trucker Buddy International helps educate and mentor schoolchildren via a pen pal relationship between professional truck drivers and children in grades 2-8 as supervised by their teachers, giving them the world through the eyes of a professional truck driver.
