AxleTech International, a General Dynamics company, has officially moved to its new headquarters and distribution center in Troy, Mich., to meet the needs of its commercial and military customers.
The new 135,000-square-foot facility will be staffed by 40 professional who fulfill aftermarket orders.

By September 2010, the new facility will be expanded to house AxleTech's Truck-Trailer-Transit (TTT) brake operations, currently based in Detroit; U.S. Gear's aftermarket operations, currently in Chicago; and AxleTech's global headquarters. Upgraded capabilities at the new Troy location will include a new engineering technical center and prototype operation.

"The new AxleTech facility in Troy will deploy the best of technology and customer service for our commercial and military customers around the world," said Bill Gryzenia, vice president of aftermarket business development for AxleTech.

AxleTech International is a global manufacturer and supplier of axles, axle components, planetary axles, brakes and aftermarket parts for commercial specialty trucks, military vehicles and off-highway machines used in the construction, material handling, forestry, mining and agricultural markets.
