CargoWise has announced an official name change, as well as a new branding initiative that reflects its position as a globally recognized technology supplier for logistics service providers.

Effective Jan. 1, 2010, CargoWise has officially dropped the "edi" from its name. It has also launched a new web site with a clean, modern look and improved navigation.

CargoWise's rebranding initiative also comes at an important milestone, as the company recently celebrated its 15-year anniversary. Following significant global growth over the years, the company now has 10 offices worldwide and more than 33,000 users in 45 countries.

"We are pleased to announce this important rebranding initiative as it coincides with the 15th year of CargoWise's success as a global logistics technology provider," said Melinda Elmowy, vice president of global sales and marketing for CargoWise. "CargoWise is recognized as a global company with solutions that enable our customers to operate seamlessly throughout the global supply chain. Our new image reinforces the CargoWise corporate brand and aligns with our strategic focus and commitment to deliver industry leading technology innovations and services to logistics service providers worldwide."
