Triangle Suspension Systems, which manufactures leaf springs and distributes a wide array of related suspension components, has opened its new Mount Olive, N.C., plant for production of heavy cross-sectioned steel springs
.

According to Rick Kempski, president of Triangle, the new facility is part of the company's commitment to invest in the business. "A new business management system, continued expansion of the WebSST System and the new Mount Olive plant are all major investments made in 2009," Kempski said.

The new plant features the latest CNC rolling and heat treat technologies, according to Harry Pehote, vice president of manufacturing.

"This plant allows our customers to receive OE quality parts from any of Triangle's distribution centers, often with same day or next day delivery," he said.

Headquartered in DuBois, Pa., Triangle is a Marmon Highway Technologies/Berkshire Hathaway company.
