Peterbilt Wisconsin & Illinois, with 11 dealer locations, will offer warranties to the used truck dealers' customers through a new deal with National Truck Protection.
Peterbilt Wisconsin & Illinois had previously offered warranties through their own in-house program but chose to outsource to NTP because of the company's reputation and 25-year history of providing warranties to the used trucking industry.
"We evaluated a number of options and chose NTP because of their long and successful track record in the industry and their reputation for providing excellent customer service," said Mike Jacques, used truck director, Peterbilt Wisconsin & Illinois. "Additionally, we were drawn to NTP's ability to offer multiple types of warranties from the incredibly comprehensive to those designed with the price sensitive customer in mind, as we strive to be a one-stop shop for our customers, as NTP is for us."
Through the deal, customers will also leverage the resources of American Truck Protection (ATP), NTP's sister company.
"Effective immediately, customers of Peterbilt Wisconsin & Illinois who purchase an NTP or ATP warranty will have the confidence that they hold the best break down protection and have access to the highest level of customer service and support in the industry," said Robert S. Amico, president of NTP.
