Decker Truck Line, Fort Dodge, Iowa, has honored two drivers for reaching new safety milestones.
Benjamin McIntyre of Oquawka, Iowa, achieved 2 million accident-free miles, while John Pallos of Fort Dodge was recognized for reaching 3 million miles with no accidents.
Both are members of Decker's Million Mile Team, which is made up of drivers that have one year's seniority, one million or more verifiable miles, no preventable accidents, no lost-time injuries and satisfied the company's annual safety meeting requirements.
The team currently has 99 active members. All Million Mile Team members receive a personalized Million Mile decal on their truck, a commemorative logo leather jacket, a Million Mile pin and plaque, and recognition on the company's Million Mile Team plaque displayed at the corporate offices.
