Red Dot Corp., which provides climate control solutions for heavy-duty trucks and equipment, has added Interstate Companies to its aftermarket distribution network.

Through the new deal, Interstate, based in Bloomington, Minn., will distribute Red Dot's heating and air conditioning units and all-makes parts at four locations, including Bloomington; Billings, Mont.; Altoona, Iowa; and Sioux Falls, S.D.

"Interstate's parts specialists will help Red Dot meet the growing need for mobile HVAC in the Midwest and Montana, particularly in mining, road construction, and other heavy-duty markets," said Robert Gardiner, marketing manager for Red Dot. "We hope to expand to more Interstate branches in the future."

Interstate has a total of 14 locations in Iowa, Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska, Wyoming, and Montana. It provides service and parts for on- and off-highway vehicles and other industrial equipment.

Based in Seattle, Red Dot designs and builds climate control components, integrated systems, replacement parts, and aftermarket units for applications including construction, mining, agriculture, forestry, military, commercial freight, and emergency service vehicles.
