The American Trucking Associations will hold a webinar covering how the Comprehensive Safety Analysis 2010 will affect the trucking industry
. The webinar will be held on Nov. 5, 2009, at 2 p.m. Eastern time.

Dave Osiecki, ATA vice president of safety, security and operations, and Dave Potts, director of safety and operations, will lead the discussion, which will focus on what steps have been taken to address industry concerns.

According to the ATA, while CSA 2010 is aimed at identifying high-risk motor carriers and drivers, it will also affect a much larger share of the industry. CSA 2010, which will result in an overhaul of the SafeStat evaluation system, should be rolled out and fully implemented by July to December 2010.

Discussion topics include:
* What CSA 2010 is (and is not)
* How it will work
* How the new system will affect your business
* Ways to work with your drivers to influence their CSA 2010 scores
* Measures ATA is taking to positively influence this new system

A question and answer session will follow the discussion.
