The upcoming National Tank Truck Carriers' 26th Annual Cargo Tank Maintenance Seminar & Equipment Show will tackle several significant issues facing the bulk transportation industry
. The event will be held Oct. 26-28 at the Nashville Convention Center.

The show will feature interactive seminar sessions, giving attendees the chance to engage in discussions related to such issues as proposed wetlines regulations, potential increases to vehicle size and weight, and the new 2010 engine requirements. Professionals from the U.S. Department of Transportation will also present a thorough regulatory update.

"Times are tough for the tank truck industry right now, so it's really important for us to offer our carriers and suppliers an excellent venue to address some of the operating challenges that lurk ahead," said John Conley, NTTC's president. "This event is the industry's largest gathering each year with over 120 exhibition booths and about 500 registered attendees. We believe that the event's valuable seminar component truly offers the perfect platform for us to work through some difficult issues in difficult times."
