The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration has rolled out a new web site to provide information about the Comprehensive Safety Analysis 2010, or CSA 2010.

CSA 2010, which should be fully implemented by December 2010, is a new compliance and inspection program created to improve large truck and bus safety and reduce crashes, injuries and fatalities. The web site is aimed at truck and bus companies, commercial vehicle drivers, and federal and state law enforcement personnel.

To achieve these goals, the FMCSA will identify high-risk carrier and driver behaviors and apply a wide range of interventions to correct these high-risk behaviors before they become chronic and habitual.
