The organizers of Heavy Duty Aftermarket Week 2010 have been gearing up for next year's event, with the theme of "Achieving Success in a Changing Environment."
The event will take place Jan. 18-21 at the Mirage in Las Vegas.

"The theme for HDAW 2010 reflects the need for both suppliers and their distributor partners to come together to learn and grow in a rapidly changing business environment," said Gary Smalley, HDAW 2010 co-chair. "The heavy-duty industry is experiencing extraordinary economic challenges, and this event will bring us all together to talk about how to deal with it."

"Independent distributors who are facing some tough times need the knowledge, best practices and tools not only to better deal with today's pressures but to be prepared and strategically positioned for the recovery," said Dave Bell, HDAW 2009 co-chair. "A robust program is being developed by the HDAW education committee that will meet this need."

HDAW is the largest North American gathering of the independent heavy-duty industry. More than 1,400 managers and executives from 17 countries including distributors, manufacturers, service providers, educators and media attended the 2009 conference. HDAW is presented by a joint operating committee comprised of industry leaders from American Council of Frame and Alignment Specialists (ACOFAS), Commercial Vehicle Solutions Network (CVSN), Heavy Duty America (HDA), Heavy Duty Distribution Association (HDDA), Heavy Duty Manufacturers Association (HDMA), APRA's Heavy Duty Remanufacturing Group (HDRG), International Truck Parts Association (ITPA), Overseas Automotive Council (OAC), Power Heavy Duty, Service Specialists Association (SSA), Truck Pride, Truck Frame and Axle Repair Association (TARA) and Vipar Heavy Duty.
