Phillips Industries has been honored with the Daimler Trucks North America Masters of Quality Award for the second consecutive year.
The company was selected for its efforts in 2008 in meeting Daimler Trucks' supplier requirements and expectations.
Based in Santa Fe Springs, Calif., Phillips Industries supplies cab harnesses, trailer cables, and other related products to DTNA.
"Everyone at Phillips is committed to exceeding the expectations of our customers, and when we are again recognized for that effort by a company with the reputation of Daimler Trucks North America, we know we are meeting the goals we have set for ourselves," said Bob Phillips, president of Phillips Industries.
DTNA presents the award annually to suppliers who meet their standards and also show a commitment for continual improvement. Daimler's suppliers are evaluated semi-annually on more than 100 criteria related to quality, service, aftermarket parts availability, engineering, warranty and purchasing.
