Volvo Trucks North America is marketing its EPA 2010 emissions technology during its "No Regen Engine" tour
, which has educated more than 1,000 customers on selective catalytic reduction technology. The company has sponsored 26 events so far, using dealerships throughout the U.S. and Canada as venues.

During the tour, customers can drive a production-ready EPA 2010 Volvo VN and handle samples of diesel exhaust fluid.

"Our customers are intensely interested in SCR and really want to understand how it will work for their operations," said Scott Kress, senior vice president of sales and marketing. "Volvo's fact-based presentations and hands-on demonstrations have dispelled the misinformation and confusion that others have attempted to spread about this technology."

The tour will continue through September, with about 70 dealer visits planned.
