Effective March 1, Arnold Transportation raised the independent contractor pay for its Super Regional and Southwest Regional areas despite the current economic challenges.

"This change was made so that Arnold could reward its partners and build strong relationships that will last long after the economy has recovered," says Tom Glaser, president of Arnold Transportation. "Because of that, we've raised rates to 91 cents per mile (loaded and empty)."

Arnold offers steady freight, paid plates and permits, fuel surcharge program, 24/7 road breakdown assistance, TripPak services, and weekly settlements. Many of these benefits are part of ASAP (Arnold Savings Advantage Program), where Arnold enables owner-operators and small fleet owner to save money in discounted programs such as tire, fuel and insurance.
