Averitt Express recently opened a new distribution facility in West Atlanta, with double the amount of dock space and nearly twice as many dock doors as the previous West Atlanta location.
Averitt currently employs 137 at its West Atlanta facility. The company is currently seeking to fill positions for regional drivers based out of the new West Atlanta service center.
The new facility features:
• 123 dock doors
• 52,000 square feet of dock space
• 35-acre lot
The service center is equipped with current information technology to ensure complete shipment visibility and efficient operations. The facility also features a maintenance center, drivers' lounge, fitness center, showers, on-site fueling stations and a drive-through truck wash.
