Barr-Nunn Transportation, Granger, Iowa, held a driver appreciation event at the Mac Hill Motorsports facility in Mooresville, N.C.,
as part of National Truck Driver Appreciation Week.
The goal of the event was to celebrate the team that makes Barr-Nunn a success, while taking some time to enjoy each other's company.
All those in attendance were given a tour of the the Mac Hill Motorsports race shop by team owner Jack McNelly. After the barbeque, the Barr-Nunn drivers and owner-operators that attended were able to meet Mac Hill Motorsports driver Danny O'Quinn as well as see the #56 Barr-Nunn Chevrolet that was scheduled to race in the Nationwide Richmond Virginia Race on Sept. 5.
"We enjoy getting out in the field with our drivers and letting them know we appreciate their dedication to safety and Barr-Nunn," said Aimee Hanson, safety risk manager for Barr-Nunn.
Barr-Nunn holds driver appreciation events throughout the year.
