The Diesel Technology Forum is hosting "Clean Diesel - Driving America's Energy Solutions," a webinar discussion on how clean diesel vehicles can help drivers, businesses, and communities across the nation save money and reduce petroleum consumption and GHG emissions.
The webinar will take place Wednesday, Sept. 10, 2008 at 10:30 a.m. EST.

Research findings from two new studies will provide an in-depth analysis of these issues, including:

• Consumer perceptions about clean diesel fuel and technology, as well as new diesel alternatives, including fuel efficiency, environmental impact and performance.
• The role new, clean diesel fuel and engines will play in reducing America's petroleum consumption and transport-related CO2 emissions.
• The economic and environmental benefits that clean diesel vehicle owners and society will see in the coming years.

The panel will also address how clean diesel may impact the choices of future car buyers concerned about fuel economy. In the next year, 13 new clean diesel cars & trucks will be available to consumers offering up to 40 percent better fuel economy and approximately 20 percent less
CO2 emissions than their gasoline counterparts.
