The Commercial Vehicle Solutions Network's annual meeting in Denver next month will cover NHTSA stopping distance changes, access to information/right to repair, aftermarket opportunities from 2010 emissions, marketing groups and more.


The meeting will be Sept. 21-24 at the Omni Interlocken Resort in Broomfield, Colo., outside of Denver.

The Keynote Address will be given by Joe McAleese, President & CEO of Bendix, on the future of the aftermarket. A special guest speaker will be Dr. Larry Helms on "Thinking out of the Box."

* "NHTSA Stopping Distance Changes - The Impact" featuring Jim Clark from Bendix Spicer Foundation, LLC, Roy Zeitlow Senior Product Development Engineer from Navistar, Joe Kay from ArvinMeritor and Bob Hicks from Carlisle/Motion Control, moderated by John Minor, Midwest Wheel Companies
* "Access to Information/Right To Repair" update featuring Lew Flowers from HD America and Lee Kadrich from AAIA/HDDA representing the Commercial Vehicle Task Force Group, moderated by Pete Pasdach, Midway Truck Parts

In addition, "Aftermarket Opportunities from the 2010 EPA Emissions regulations" features speakers Al Hovda from Donaldson and Charlie Simpson from Golden State Peterbilt Paclease, moderated by John Bzeta, Fleet Brake & Parts

A panel will the heads of the three top marketing groups: Pat Biermann from HD America, Bill Burns from Truck Pride and Steve Crowley from VIPAR Heavy Duty, and their vision for the future of the aftermarket.
