The American Trucking Associations announced the line-up for the 2008 ATA Management Conference & Exhibition, to be held in New Orleans Oct. 4-7.


Highlights of the conference include more than 15 educational sessions on new technologies, key regulatory and legal issues, economic and political briefings, and industry-leading management strategies, as well as entertainment and networking opportunities.

• Country music star Lee Ann Womack will entertain attendees at the ATA Annual Banquet.
• The newest and best in trucks, engines, technology and business services will be featured in ATA's Exhibition Hall.
• Political analyst Frank Luntz, one of America's top polling and issues-management consultants, will provide insight into the 2008 political scene and the hotly contested presidential race.
• A panel of blue-ribbon economists will offer a frank assessment of the current business environment as well as assess the industry's business outlook heading into 2009.
