AxleTech International, which manufactures axles, suspensions, brakes and aftermarket parts for off-highway vehicles, will now produce original equipment (OE) aftermarket products for on-highway commercial
and specialty vehicles.
Customers now have a choice for OE aftermarket products for their driveline and undercarriage needs, including axle, driveline, brake and wheel end products.
"This is a logical extension of our success in the off-highway markets, given the commonality of our off-highway products with the requirements of the on-highway commercial vehicle market," said Bill Gryzenia, AxleTech's vice president of Aftermarket Business Development.
"We are investing in this opportunity and are committed to making AxleTech's Commercial Vehicle Aftermarket group a cornerstone of our future success," said Mary Petrovich, AxleTech's chief executive officer.
Tina Alread, a 20-year veteran of the heavy-duty industry, will head AxleTech's Commercial Vehicle Aftermarket group. She joined AxleTech from Federal Mogul.
A Carlyle Group-owned company, AxleTech has its origins as the off-highway division of former Rockwell International.
