Contract Freighters Inc., an international truckload carrier based in Joplin, Mo., has announced its Drivers of the Year for 2007. The six award winners, representing solo as well as team driver operations, were singled out at a recent
ceremony for exemplary performance, commitment to safety and professional service representing CFI in the market, with their fellow employees and with customers. Each driver qualified for consideration by earning driver of the month recognition during 2007.
"This ceremony is our annual opportunity to recognize the 'best of the best' in our fleet," said Herb Schmidt, president, CFI, a Con-way company. "What these individuals have accomplished is about more than safe miles. It is about service, leading by example and representing our company as a complete professional. It is the highest honor we give to an employee or contractor."
