The Technology & Maintenance Council of the American Trucking Associations is now accepting nominations for its 2008 Maintenance Supervision Award.
The award, presented annually, recognizes top front-line truck equipment maintenance
supervisors or foremen of TMC/ATA member companies.
Nominees or those submitting for a nominee must write a short letter - 500 words or less - explaining why the nominee is an excellent truck maintenance supervisor and should be selected as a representative of excellence in maintain supervision.
Nominee submissions may include optional supporting material, such as certification by the National Committee for Motor Fleet Supervisor Training or ASE, or other awards, commendation letters or record of supervisory training courses, etc.
The complete entry should be turned in to TMC by Friday, Dec. 28, 2007. Nominations and supporting materials should be sent to: Technology & Maintenance Council, ATTN: Maintenance Supervision Excellence, 950 North Glebe Road, Suite 210, Arlington, VA 22203-4181.
TMC's Maintenance Supervision Excellence Award Committee will choose from among the industry's outstanding maintenance supervisors to win a trip to the Technology & Maintenance Council's 2008 Annual Meeting and Exhibition, Feb. 4-7, 2008, in Orlando, Fla.
