Penske Truck Leasing celebrated the grand reopening of an existing facility in San Leandro, Calif., located on 10755 Bigge St. The Penske-owned two-story building received a $1 million renovation,
highlighted by a 1,600-square-feet addition that includes a new consumer rental counter, driver lounge and increased office space.
The 17,000-square-foot facility, employing 45 associates, offers commercial and consumer truck rental services, full-service truck leasing and contract maintenance. About 100 leasing customers are serviced from this six-acre location and nearly 1,000 vehicles are maintained on-site.
The structure now incorporates Penske Truck Leasing's new facility design elements, features state-of-the-art technology and is designed to enhance the customer experience. A new wireless technology component allows Penske service technicians to integrate various vehicle diagnostic and repair software. The facility has 10 service bays, and a four-lane fuel island with high-speed fuel pumps for fast service.
