CFI, an international truckload carrier based in Joplin, Mo., has named the monthly driver award recipients for July 2007. Company Driver of the Month is George Darko,
who started driving for CFI in 2005 and has driven more than 340,000 miles. He lives in Antioch, Tenn.
The Company Team of the Month is Steven Salter and Susan Bolin. Both began driving for CFI in 2004 and have driven over 730,000 miles together. They live in Pace, Fla., and Tucson, Ariz., respectively.
Contractor Driver of the Month is Marvin Peck, who began his career with CFI in 1984 and has driven more than 730,000 miles. He resides in Bartlesville, Okla.
And the Contractor Team of the Month is Roger Bolan and Ray Poland, who began their careers at CFI in 1995 and 1998, respectively, and combined have driven over 2.2 million miles. Bolan resides in Dubberly, La., and Poland resides in Heflin, La.
As the July 2007 winners, each driver and team is automatically nominated for the 2007 year-end award in their respective category. All full-time over the road drivers who have been certified as a driver at CFI for one year are eligible for the CFI driver awards.
