PeopleNet Names 2 to Executive VP Posts

PeopleNet, a Minneapolis-based provider of onboard computing and mobile communications systems to the nation's transportation industry, has named Brian McLaughlin, executive vice president of marketing, product and sales, and Mike Goergen as

executive vice president and chief financial officer.
McLaughlin has been with the company since 2001 and is currently vice president of marketing and product planning. In addition to those duties, he will manage all of the company's sales efforts in the United States and Canada. His list of key accomplishments includes establishing the company's product planning process, increasing the awareness and equity of the PeopleNet brand, and developing a multi-faceted demand generation process.
McLaughlin serves the industry in many capacities including key roles within The American Trucking Associations' Technology and Maintenance Council, The National Private Truck Council and others.
Goergen has been with the company since 1997 where he joined as controller, and is currently vice president of finance. He currently leads all international finance and accounting activities across PeopleNet. Goergen has been instrumental in implementing the company's current ERP system, streamlining procurement and order fulfillment, and helping build the company's financial strength.
