The Transportation Marketing & Communications Association (TMCA) has scheduled its annual marketing boot camp Sept. 19-20 at the Renaissance Long Beach Hotel. This two-day seminar is geared toward marketing professionals
in the transportation industry with 10 years or less in industry marketing.
"Our line-up of industry marketing veterans will share applicable, immediately usable content for attendees," said Brian Everett, TMCA's chief executive officer. "Our presenters are the personal trainers of transportation marketing and will help attendees to be more educated on emerging trends and best practices, which will ultimately help them to be more effective in their jobs."
Special keynote Norm Ellis, vice president and general manager for Qualcomm Inc., will provide practical tips and insights on how marketers can make sure their top management team understands the real value of marketing on the success of their business. The session will cover practical tips on how to identify and manage what's top of mind for your executive team, how to move the corporate vision and strategic plan into action, and how to report back to them meaningful results.
"After going through the TMCA marketing boot camp, attendees will have a solid understanding of marketing fundamentals ranging from new media and branding to ROI and media relations," said TMCA Education Chairperson Denny
Grim. "They'll leave with a new perspective and invaluable industry contacts."
Registration includes access to all keynotes, general sessions, panel discussions, workshops, networking events, lunches and break refreshments held throughout the seminar. Early bird registration before Sept. 3 is $445 for TMCA members and $590 for non-members (non-member fee includes TMCA membership dues for a full year).
